Quarterly checkpoint
For applicable projects, monitor the deadline before the 10th of the first month of the next quarter.
Identify the project’s reporting duties, reconcile actual implementation data and prepare monitoring and evaluation reports that support ongoing compliance and future amendments.
START WITH THE RIGHT ROUTE
Investment monitoring and evaluation is a specific reporting framework. It should not be confused with every general investment activity, tax or corporate report. The duty and form depend on the project, investor, approval route and reporting period. Confirm the relevant system and receiving authority for the actual project.
A missed report can become particularly visible when the company seeks to amend its IRC or explain delayed investment. Start with the full reporting history, not just the next deadline.
KEY DECISIONS
For applicable projects, monitor the deadline before the 10th of the first month of the next quarter.
Check whether the project must submit the first-half-year report before 10 July.
Check the annual reporting obligation and the following-year February deadline.
Some project changes call for an evaluation report before the amendment request. Confirm the specific trigger.
PRACTICAL GUIDANCE
The Vietnamese source identifies periodic checkpoints for quarterly and half-year or annual reporting and a report connected with certain project adjustments. The applicable exact date and form must be checked against Decree 19/2026/ND-CP and the project’s category; do not assume every project files all four items.
A useful calendar records the period covered, data owner, reviewer, submission channel and acknowledgement. This prevents quarterly operational figures from contradicting the financial, capital and project-progress records used later.
PRACTICAL GUIDANCE
Gather the investment policy decision and IRC, amendment history, capital contribution and financing evidence, project milestones, assets, operating results, employment and tax or accounting records. Compare reported figures with the actual project position and with earlier submissions.
Where data is missing or inconsistent, document the reason and proposed correction. A report should not repeat a registered schedule that the project has clearly missed without addressing the gap.
HOW WE WORK
Duong Tri Law first classifies the obligations and periods, then checks the registration and project history. We request figures from finance and operations, prepare the relevant form and explanation, arrange review by the company, file via the applicable channel and retain filing evidence and a calendar for the next period.
A multi-period catch-up or pre-amendment review needs more work than a single routine report. The fee and timetable are set after the number of periods and data quality are known.
A CLEAR SEQUENCE
PRACTICAL GUIDANCE
Before amending project capital, location, objectives or schedule, check whether monitoring and evaluation information reflects actual implementation. This does not mean every IRC amendment triggers the same report; the project-specific basis must be confirmed. We can coordinate reporting and IRC work so both files use one reconciled set of facts.
BEFORE YOU FILE
A report is only useful if it matches the project’s registration and actual implementation. Finance and operations should sign off on the same figures before submission.
Project objective, location, capital and schedule as approved.
Contributions, finance, asset formation and invested amounts.
Progress, outputs, labour and project difficulties in the relevant period.
Previous submissions, account access and acknowledged corrections.
BEFORE YOU FILE
A change in capital, scale, location or schedule can expose inconsistent or overdue reporting. Review the report history and actual data before drafting the IRC amendment explanation.
Reconcile registered targets with funds and actual milestones.
Explain the factual need for change and any site implications.
Identify missing periods and the lawful correction route.
BEFORE YOU FILE
A single current-period report differs from a multi-period catch-up, annual reporting support or a pre-amendment evaluation. We scope the number of periods, quality of underlying data and any corrective work before quoting.
INITIAL REVIEW
These copies help us identify the route and a realistic scope. We will specify originals, authentication and translations after checking the case.
No. The reporting frameworks and forms differ; the project may have more than one obligation.
A catch-up approach depends on the period, system and authority. Reconcile the facts first and retain proof of submission.
No universal answer applies. Check the amendment type and the project’s reporting category.
Reporting is linked to the applicable project obligation, not only to sales. A pre-operational project should report its actual implementation position where required.
The receiving authority and electronic system depend on the project and report type; confirm them for the current period.
Preserve the earlier filing history, reconcile source data and determine the appropriate correction and explanation route.
Yes, depending on the duty, delay and applicable sanction rule. Review the facts before quantifying exposure.
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
The requirements, authority and current procedure must be checked for the facts and filing date of each case.
NEXT STEP
Send the current documents, proposed change and timing. We will identify the initial questions and agree the scope of work.
